This is interesting...

I have looked, and haven't found yet, where this may have been shared. So, hopefully it hasn't. Today I will post a good Ndw sounding album by the band Chuzpe. While I beleive this band to be Austrian, the record seems to have been put out in De. But, Iam leaning more towards it being from Austria, as they were on the excellent NeonBeats comp. that was just released. Enough of my rambling ;)

I'm back...now time for something Joy division - ish.

For anyone who may, or may not be interested, I have returned with another post. This one was an enigma to me, and apparently others, for a long time. The only track I heard was called 'final-entry', and had been mis-labeled as everything from Joy division jamming with Hawkwind, to a band called Pegasis. In reallity, this band is Pegasi51. A post-punk band playing out of Knoxville,Tennessee. Strangely,or ironically, I was living in that city when this c.d was made. I wish I had heard them then, as it would have suited me more than the hippy jam shows I was attending weekly. What you have here,in my opinion, is the best joy division influenced album, that I have heard so far. It even comes with a j.d cover song ' No love lost' for good measure. Do yourself a favour, and check out Pegasi51's album 'Space Riot'.

Or so I thought...

Grunge. Ya know, I first heard of it when I was a young teen. I thought grunge was some band called'Nirvana'.heh... It goes so much further, obviously, as I find new info digging further and further back. This is a great compilation from 1985 documenting such. Great bands on here. Some I had heard, some not. All good.... Enjoy- Deep Six. Here ya go kids...http://www.mediafire.com/?imqnmrtigwm

Time for some trouble...

But, what kind of trouble? Lucas Trouble, that's what. My post today is an excellent two c.d collection of works by, and involving Lucas Trouble. Iam not really sure how to describe his music. But, in any case without trying to sound cliche, this music definetely has that certain ' Je ne se quois' quality that I really dig. It is kinda like a French cabaret post-punk, or something. Some of the songs on here I notice are also inclusions from the group 'Tango Luger' that can be heard over at the prolific mutant-sounds.blog, only they are of a much higher quality sound than the vinyl rips. Iam sure you'll notice that the tracks are unlabelled aswell. Well, that is how I got them. I could of went through and labelled them myself, but I thought that the untitled status would prove a point. These are mp3 rips from a c.d. They are the shadow without its' form, if that makes sense. They are for previewing something before you buy it. If you really dig this, and I hope you do, buy the real thing when you are able to do so. The only thing else I can tell you is that cd1 is his newer work, while cd2 is a collection of the older stuff. Well, after that being said...Here it is: Lucas Trouble - The most terrible songs of...and other terrific stories. This collection is in two parts. I hope you enjoy it....

Post-Punk v. 3.0

Post-Punk. The sound has been encompassed in many ways, or in my opinion it has. This is a compilation of newer artist, mostly, that have drawn apon the same current of energy as those before them. Iam sure some will split hairs with me, saying that some of this music is more goth, belongs in the garage, or is gazeing at shoes, but is my blog, and I say these are the post-punk revivalist! ;P
Some of the artist you may recognize, others not. All great music.

I have found this music to be enjoyable driving around the evenings of these pre-summer dayz. http://www.mediafire.com/?0oyyymmyczz

It begins....

Iam going to make my first post one of the musical variety. Sometimes maybe I will be just ranting, sometimes not. 'Kicks Joy Darkness' is tribute of various natures to the great beat generation poet/writer Jack Kerouac. I say various because some of it is spoken word, others are doing it in music. Either-way, an interesting c.d that you should give a listen to, if you haven't already before in the past. I see that this has been posted elsewhere, but have chosen to post it here as it came back to my mind, and holds special memories for me. Check it out.... http://www.mediafire.com/file/t0zm2kwiizj/v.a. - kerouac- kicks joy darkness (1997).rar
